Lifestyle is a gated community in Costa Mesa’s South Coast Metro area. It is one of the city’s five main regions. Residents are close to schools, shopping, dining, services, parks, and beaches.

Lifestyle was built in 1997 and features a Cape Cod architectural style. Floor plans offer three to four bedrooms, three baths, and 2,340 to 2,500 square feet of living space.

The Newport Mesa Unified School District serves this community with facilities like Paularino Elementary School, Sonora Elementary, and Costa Mesa High School. There are also several private schools like Christian Montessori Academy, John Bunyan Academy, Mariners Christian School, and Montessori Harbor Mesa School. This is the also the home of Orange Coast College and Vanguard University.

Residents here have easy access to the 55 and 405 freeways; and the John Wayne Airport is just a short drive away. South Coast Plaza, the West Coast’s largest mall generates over a billion dollars a year in revenue. It offers more than 300 boutiques, and restaurants and is the home of the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. This community is also close to the Orange County Performing Arts Center which hosts concerts, Broadway plays, and special events.

Costa Mesa was once a farming community but is now known for its retail centers, and light manufacturing. This city brings in a million visitors a year to the Orange County Fair, and is popular for the Pacific Amphitheater. The venue has sponsored acts like Madonna, Steppenwolf, and Kelly Clarkson. Top employers include Experian, Fairview Developmental Center, Coast Community College District Foundation, Orange Coast College, the Automobile Club of Southern California, and First Team Real Estate.
